The Officer, Civilian, Spouse Association will host the annual spring bazaar Feb. 26-28, at Stout Physical Fitness Center, Fort Bliss. The bazaar features several area craftspeople, with profits going to community programs and scholarships. We will have vendors that sell woodwork, children's items, jewelry, pottery, plants, purses, food items, and many more (over 100 vendors)!!! Hours are 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission: $2. Information: 231-6506 or springbazaar2010@gmail.com.

Stout Gym is on Cassidy Road and can be accessed through the Remagen Gate from Airport Road (at Butterfield Trail). Driver’s license, vehicle registrations and proof of insurance are required for entry.

I belong to a Group called the Adrian Empire, its kinda like the SCA, a medieval combat thing.. can we do a demo or set up a booth at this Bazaar? If so who do we contact to set that up?

I don't see why not - as long as the weapons (swords, etc) are not "real".....I do not think they will not allow that on post.....but I can check. The booth spaces are full, but a demo outside on Sat or Sun would be cool. Call me @ 318-730-3880 so we can discuss it.

The weapons are rebated but real.. unlike the sca we use real swords. We also have rapier and shanai bamboo swords. I will pass your number on to the guy who runs the local chapter and have him call you... his name is ken.
