CHRONICLE RECOMMENDS Jerry Brown for Governor / A vote for experience over a big leap of faith

Times endorsements: Jerry Brown for governor - latimes.com

Since conservatives were crowing about the San Francisco Chronicle's decision recently to not endorse Barbara Boxer, I trust that they'll put as much faith in the Chronicle's endorsement of Jerry Brown. (Yeah, right. )

so you are elated because 3 of the most liberal papers in the country endorsed JB and what is that supposed to mean? When my husband worked for the L.a. Times it was not liberal, but the Cronicle and the Bee have always been way to the left. What did you expect?

So why do liberals think the Fairness Doctrine should stifle free speech on the radio, but have no problem with so called "news" papers trying to sway elections to their liking and many liberals ok with the idea of govt bailing out papers who are failing?

I like Jerry - but why would he want to inherit that s__thole? Whoever goes in there next will get blamed for all the unavoidable program cuts.

He's a tough guy and he likes being involved and making a difference. At his age, I doubt he cares much about being blamed for program cuts.

With a few exceptions, all newsrags are liberal run. So the boxer deal is a surprise. This isn't.

This is supposed to be news? It would have only been news had these three very liberal publications NOT endorsed Moonbeam.

Who cares about bipartisan politics? "This newspaper is more Liberal so blah blah blah". The question is who will get the job done. That is the only question that any God-fearing self-proclaimed Patriot should be thinking about right now! No wonder why this country is in the dumps and becoming more divisive everyday - nobody can work together.
