A new University of New Hampshire Poll (early primary state) placed Mitt Romney at first with republican primary voters and Ron Paul second.

Ron Paul will never win over the social conservatives in the South. He's not getting the Republican nomination.

He had quite a bit of support at the debate in SC...
Besides, Mitt Romney is but a loaf of bread the media will try to stuff down our throats. No one really supports him, he's no different from Obama and he flips his stance on the most pointless issues. Media wants Romney, so they'll do all they can to make it look like Romney is popular, just as they did when the media wanted Obama. Romney to the media is an acceptable replacement if their status quo champion Barrack loses his seat.
Those who take the time to educate themselves and read books know what they want and will turn out on election day. People who no longer have confidence in government to do what's right and to fix the economy won't see a difference between Obama/Romney and won't take the time off work to vote.

Very precise !!!!!!!!!!! Nothing special about Romney. As usual, two lackluster pawns of the hidden power will face off in Nov. 2012.

Unlike some other conservatives, I would fully get behind Romney if he is the nominee. Many pundits across the political spectrum believe he has the best chance of beating Obama.

I love it! The Repubs will stand with their positions of killing Medicare and keeping the upper 2% protected from taxes, til they sweep into both Houses and the WH. Add to that, gut any oversight to Wall Street Bankers and firms, cancel any regulation of Business and make sure all US Companies are free to avoid taxes and ship jobs overseas. And while they are at it, gut the American middle class of any voice in their job and compensation by turning those decisions over to the overlords. Continue to chip away at the peon's ability to even vote. Now that's an America you can believe in.

It's funny to watch Repubs. Romney who was firmly opposed to GM and Chrysler bailouts, now are trying to tell people it was his idea?
