I was watching the morning news today and they were showing the crowds showing up for Sarah Palin in Iowa. She has no interest in actually running, but keeps speculating to keep her name in the media, so she can keep the money train rolling.

I couldn't help but think that she's doing the Republican party a huge disfavor. At a time when the Republicans really need to focus their field on their top candidates like Bachman, Romney, etc, they are instead competing with non-politician for political headlines.

It seems to me like Sarah Palin is being selfish. She's prioritizing her own personal financial interests over the political interests of the Republican party. Does anyone else think the same?

Selfish, maybe, but overall she isn't hurting her party. If she doesn't watch out she will hurt herself though.
