Having a "real" conservative stand a chance in this day and age isn't going to happen. The party has shifted so incredibly far to the right and hijacked by the tea party and other neo-con hacks it's likely never to shift back.
Otherwise Allen West is a tea party nutcase and Rubio is just the current dream boy like Jindal was last year.
I see from your screen name if you are a constitutionalist, there is only one person with an (R) next to their name that stands for the constitution, not wall street and their corporate cronies like the rest of the republicans. That man is Ron Paul.

With a name like "Constitutionalist", why don't you like Ron Paul?

Many of us like Rubio and Allen, but they are both too new to the scene. They need to get their feet wet and give us a chance to see what they really are made of. Maybe one will be our next VP, that is a great place to start. (well in some cases it is)

three big reasons why i cant vote for ron paul. I cant stand his stance on foreign affairs, he is not a big supportor of israel, and when he knows a spending bill will pass the house he will load it up w/ a much pork for his district in texas as he can and then vote no on it knowing it will pass anyways he cant have it both ways folks

Then you aren't a constitutionalist. Maybe in name only.

Why do you feel the US government should take money from its citizens by force and use it to defend a country halfway around the world?
