Good move Perry. Everyone knows that Texas is not prone to wildfires...DUH!
the secret word here is: volunteer. Do you live in Texas or have you ever? Do you have any idea how much of the state is being covered by volunteer fire dept? Do you think the heading on your post is acurate? If you can answer yes, to any of these questions maybe you would have something to post about, but you can't and you don't.

That droning sound you hear is the sound of Perry crashing and burning.

And yet another flavor of the month goes sour.

By the way, did Bachmann have anything to say about the religious significance of Texas burning? Wrth of Gad sort of thing y'know, burning bushes, anything?

Agreed, they don't have a prayer. Two unelectable candidates.

It's poking fun at the notion that cutting taxes will solve all of our problems.

Meanwhile in Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D) has cut state aid to local police departments by 95%, cut state aid for highways (paid for by the gas tax in a dedicated revenue sharing arrangement) by 80%, and diverted Project Open Space funds (used to preserve farm land and undeveloped areas in the rural areas, another dedicated funding source from title transfer fees on the sale of real estate) to balance the General Fund.

O'Malley is quietly being touted as a 2012 replacement for Vice-President Biden in preparation for his own campaign for President in 2016.
