When we have young ppl paying into soc sec to pay out benifits for those collecting it now and that money wont be there for the young (unless we make changes) it is a scheme
Please also dont act as if soc sec is fine. Obamas own words about not being able to pay ss if we didnt extend the debt limit. Shows if soc sec was fine there wouldnt be a doubt about seniors getting their checks.
yep, anyone with a brain knows it has to be revised somehow. I am amazed at how many don't seem to understand this and I give Perry credit for standing up for what he said. I am sure throughout the campaign he will find a way to make people understand it is not sustainable as it is and there will be a plan to continue some the program in some form, but not the form we now have.
Seniors: please stop worrying. For anyone over 45 our SS will not change.
Sure it does. Throwing tax money at illegal immigrants one day, and next day pretending to support throwing them out of the country makes him a flip-flopper, a hypocrite.
So according to your loopy logic, a doctor that treats a murder is supporting murder.
So he is critical of Obama's Stimulus money yet used it to balance his state's budget! Now unto the Texas wildfires:
Gov. Rick Perry, who has been quick to denounce federal intervention in everyday lives, was equally critical of the federal response to wildfires across the state.
Perry, who announced his candidacy for the presidency last month, expressed frustration at the slow pace of the relief efforts and jabbed the Obama administration for not releasing military equipment like bulldozers that would be useful in battling the blaze.
Conservatives please! please! stand behind Perry and make him the GOP nominee! His Social Security rant about it being a "Ponzi scheme" along with what has been posted above should be a cakewalk for President Obama!
All the Republicans do this. I don't see how any of their constituents can back what they say with a straight face.
When the stimulus was put into action, they all pissed and moaned about it. Then as quickly as they could, ran home and accepted the check for various projects back home.
