He prayed for rain when he should have been praying for common sense and compassion.
Another repuke who misses the mark.
If perry wins I hope this becomes how all of America lives. I want real suffering. We have millions of absolutely stupid people in this country. We deserve this that we are going through now. I don't feel sorry for many of the wage slaves around me. Why? They didn't vote and some never have. Some just complain while all the time they have been part of the problem allowing perry types to rule. I hope all of America continues to suffer like the firefighters of Texas because no one in the world deserves it more.

This is just nutty to me. It's one thing to have a personal belief in "God", but to issue an official proclamation to pray for rain seems bizarre.

And this proclamation was in April. Given the recent fires in Texas, I guess praying doesn't work. How shocking.
His patent 'Religiopocrisy' has apparently pi$$ed off the Boss of Rain.

No, this isn't the religion forum but that doesn't make lying about what atheists believe OK.

"Clear up"??? NO.

ALL atheist believe there is no god or gods...THAT IS ALL THEY HAVE IN COMMON.
Atheism is not a cult with rules where everyone has to think alike(religion).

Oh, the horror, a prayer. I am pretty sure this means the end of the Republic.

Well actually it is. How many atheists believe in God? You have to think alike to be atheist.

I have to say, if there is any form of logic behind this statement, it escapes me.

Default Rick Perry issued an official proclamation to pray for rain in Texas

Perry's prayers were answered by drought and wildfires.
