The moment that would have broken my father's heart was the moment when applause broke out at the mention of more than 200 executions ordered by Rick Perry in Texas. It was stunning and brought tears to my eyes. This is what we've come to? That we applaud at executions?
Looking for Ronald Reagan — and Not Finding Him - TIME

I'm not a great fan of Reagans, but he would seem like a breath of fresh air compared to the crew of Neocons that are running now. Reagan's daughter apparently agrees. I'm pretty sure that she will not be voting for any of the frontrunners.

She is correct, but I'd exempt Romney, who is the sole adult in a field of children.

A serious BFD on this one. Patti Davis did everything she could to embarrass her father, from a major drug problem to posing nude in Playboy. Except for libs, no one gives a krap what this nitwit thinks.

Reagan was a great President, but Patti and Ron Jr. are a mess. Since the poster is so enamored with the musings of Presidential children, I am sure he is glued to the comments of Michael Reagan.

I cannot fathom RR tolerating an audience that would APPLAUD the vast usage of the death penalty, as if watching lions maul Christians thousands of years ago. I can picture him admonishing them.

His daughter and youngest so are no conservatives really. Ronald reagan :IMO the greatest modern president would agree with the daughter or son.

true, bily Texas governor job has no power, and truly gains the office holder no valuable exp. Structure of state means power rests elsewhere, so all results should be dismissed as having nada to do with governor.
