Wow .. If your user name is any indication .. You must be a Proud New Yorker this evening!
BTW .. I've seen where the Left is already trying their best to put a happy face on the situation by saying .. "It doesn't matter because the seat May Not be there after 2012"!
Don't let them get away with it .. The REAL reason for the Happy Faces of all Republicans is .. The Message .. OBAMA'S DONE!

darn right (I heard that in the Orthodox in Flatbush prescients Turner got around 85% of the vote)
Here's what this election represented to the voters of the complete district (if missing any of these pieces Weprin would be in instead)
1. Anti gay marriage vote
2. anti Obama anti Israel policies
3. anti Obama's economy plan
Obama even now is leaning far more towards same sex marriage.
He also has been throwing Israel under that busy bus of his every chance he gets.
Obama is on every ballot since majorities make a difference in what power he has.
Why do Jews go for so many Democrats who seem to be so anti-Israel? It makes no sense to me.

That should be the case, for Obama or ANY politician from either side IMO.
Uh OH .. Maybe you're Not a Proud New Yorker after all!
You live in Queens by any chance?
And even though Obama wasn't on THIS ballet .. It WAS about him!
not as much as it was about the marriage bill (Weprin has a similar record to Hikind on this bill and he wins big in the Orthodox communities (which seems to have gone in the 80% range for Turner))
