Its true, Obama is only almost half way to being as bad as GWB...given another 4 years he will prove that he is just as awful.

We are a long way from the election and the outcome of the election will be determined by the state of the economy when the election is held. If there is not a substantial improvement in the current economy, then whoever the republicans put up will win. If there is a substantial improvement, ( which all indications are doubtful ) then the democratic nominee wins....

Default GOP candidates are unsuitable; this is clear

I find that the most delusional folks in this country are those who think that 1) the GOP has a chance to win the presidency after showing for 11 years running now that they're a severe detriment to this country and 2) that President Obama is vulnerable because the GOP would like everyone to think that he solely the reason for the country's economic woes.

Neither Perry nor Romney has a chance in hell of unseating this President. They are staggeringly repulsive in every sense of the word, completely unqualified and unsuitable. Both are members of the party that dug this country into the deep hole, and it stands to reason that they remain a part of the problem.

The GOP narrative stinks. The GOP stinks. Red states have always been wrong. Neocons were wrong. Bush was wrong. Cheney lied and was wrong. Republicans have been allowed to frame the argument here, blaming all the Republican/Bush-induced problems that plague this country on President Obama. They are myopic in their view and absolutely wrong, which is why their candidates will flame out under greater scrutiny.

I see it as Paul winning. His base is deep! You're not changing their minds.

Paul - 40%
Perry - 25%
Romney - 15%
Bachmann - 10%
Cain - 5%
Santorum and Huntsman - 5%

Dang!

I just about nailed the Cali straw poll!

Maybe you need to check a little closer, show us when and how Mr Pres tried to compromise? He said, I will work with the otherside if they do what I want. How about a balanced budget? Did the Republicans send one to the senate early in the year and what did the Senate do with it? How about several bills that the Senate either hasn't acted on or refussed to pass?

Nero fiddled as Rome burned. Perry campaigns while Texas burns.

What makes me think you would have voted for him regardless?
