You mean when he had a huge majority in the House and 60 votes in the Senate? When his stimulus and obamacare passed? Well, if you were upset with the mess he was left with, you must be furious with him for making an even bigger mess of things - like $4 TRILLION in new debt under his watch.

You must know by now, the recession ENDED in JUNE of 2009, BEFORE any stimulus funds were distributed.

The obama Wreckovery started way, way before the GOP took over the House.

I'm always amazed people are unaware of even the basic facts.

There can be only one explanation - they don't want to know the facts, so they ignore them....makes it so much easy to come up with lame excuses for obama's FAILURES.

She seems incredulous when I tell her it's going to be a rough year for Obama.

Polls are useful. Obama's are not as bad as some seem to think. He's still definitely in the range of being able to win.
Let me start again, I lost power while typing thanks to some much need and grateful for rain here in Texas.
Actually my "circle" is much wider than you think. I work on projects involving several companies working for other rather large companies interacting in person with one another in the same location. My contact and conversations with others is a rather large in person sampling.

Not trying to prove anything by that just letting you know that it is a much larger interaction than most meet up with in their daily lives. I'm not hearing support out there from anyone, literally no one anymore. I used to. I hear the gripes and moans of when will these bad moves come to an end continuously.

The teacher thing I am well aware of having two teachers for parents myself as well as friends that are teachers. I think most are indoctrinated into Big Government more than the kids they teach are. Not surprising since many of them are the source for the kids. Very liberal thinking is common in teachers.

Romney is the only Republican who can beat Obama.

Anyone CAN beat Obama.

These national polls don't matter. The state-by-state polls are what counts, and those don't look too good for Obama.

I'd say FL, VA, NC and IN are already lost to him. He has a huge uphill battle in MI, PA, WI, and MN.

I don't see a plausible electoral scenario in which Oblama wins in 2012, regardless of who the GOP nominee is. The map just doesn't favor him.

Trace212309, Perry Ponzi scheme = Obama Florida win. The Rust Belt, Pa, Colorado, and all the other swing states are unavailable to Perry. Or Bachmann. TP must decide pie in the sky wacko nominee and 2012 loss, or 2012 win w/o their dream off the chart nominee.

I don't think you appreciate just how unpopular Oblama is everywhere but the northeast and places like Maryland.

We'll see in 14 short months.

He is, and Perry is equally unpopular in NON TP hotbeds. Swing states are the key; NC is not amongst them, nor the Deep REd South. PS, Both coasts are solid blue, you add in Fl, Pa, Ohio, and yes, Mi (which has not elected hard line conservs, but mostly moderate GOP), and it is game, set, and match.

Its Romney or Bust.
