Instead of going through the contortions of trying to protect and make excuses for obama's failed presidency, why not find someone else in your party to run?

Or is it like I feel....there is nobody else.

I keep hearing how bad the current Republican field is, what have YOU got?

Hillary? Hah!

Come on....name someone.

When was the last time a sitting president was challenged by his own party? Republicans are generally to stupid to realise that it will never happen.

Kennedy challenged Carter and only reluctantly conceded.

I just did some research and it has happened ocassional, each time the sitting president won the challenge and has resulted each time in the sitting president losing the election.

To the OP, the left doesn't need anyone else to run since each and every republican candidate has self desrtucted, Perry soon will, except Romney

I do not make a habit of correcting people's grammar, but when you call people "to stupid" and spell "realize" as "realise", I'll make an exception.

But I digress....when is the last time the economy was in this bad a shape due to a sitting Presidents policies?

That's right....it was Carter! That's why he was challenged.

My point is, who do you see as a viable candidate from the left?

As long as the unemployment number remains at or about 9% Obama loses the election. I see no need for the democrats to challenge obama in a primary. He is self destructing rather well all on his own. High unemployment, high oil prices, inflation growing.. It's all a recipe for defeat irrespective of who the GOP puts up as a challenger. To once again quote Slick Willy.... " It's the economy stupid".

Heck, it took WWII to "fix" the Great Depression, and yet you call Obama "failed", for what?.... for not instantly cleaning up the several major piles of crap left behind by his esteemed Republican predecessor?!! "Huh, Dubya who, we disowned him... and we're not really Republicans anymore, we're Independents now!"

And BTW, does it get any more pathetic than begging, "oh, and since we can't find even a single credible candidate of our own, we think the Dems should please handicap themselves and offer us someone that one of our sideshow freaks might actually be able to beat!"

Please don't. It's a long way to the election and if things don't improve, Daffy Duck could defeat this administration.
