Now, if we could just get some of the old guard out of the Senate, that would be refreshing, as well.

It really is more wide open than people realize. There are anywhere from 22% - 30% who are still undecided. Those votes are going someplace, so some of those polling lower could get them and make it interesting.

Get used to some of these people, one of two of them are going to be in the WH very soon.
Dude look at the facts before you say stupid stuff W Bush is the one to blame for the state of the country. Obama stimulus money that was given out work it helped the failing auto industry. The only reason Obama looks lazy & kinda a weak pres is because of congress. They just want to put this country is a bigger hell hole that will take a min of 50yrs to get out so they can keep there pockets fat & big companies like GE pay no taxes with all the stupid loop hole. GE paied no taxes & got a 3.2bill rebate from the goverment this is wrong on so many levels you can thank republicans for this

I agree about the media part...Fox is really pushing him down everyone's throats. What is that about? It's really strange when Fox and the left leaning media are pushing for the same thing to happen. 'Splain that one, Lucy! Wonder how they will manage to save his butt and make him look halfway coherent tomorrrow with carefully edited soundbites? Did he say one thing that made sense or was remarkable they can cut and play over and over ad nauseum?

Bachmann is so after Rick Perry, hounding him about shady dealings as Gov. of Texas...on many fronts. She's doing what the MSM should be...pressing hard....and Perry wilted tonight. I think..Now...Perry is likely 'Toast.''

Are you kidding me? Do you know who is neck deep in GE's pockets? Do you also know who has mismanaged and totally wasted a large percentage of the stimulus money? How about that half billion dollars Obama threw away on Solyndra? We don't really know and probably never will know who ended up with a lot of that money. I guarantee it wasn't all spent on the Solyndra project. That is probably only the tip of the iceberg too.

Republicans are the ones who created these loop hole for big companies not paying taxes is just unamerican. If you do not think you should have to pay taxes then go live in Africa being a American means you pay taxes weather you like it or not

Perry has been toast snice he said social security is a ponzi scheme for the first time about 3 to 5 days before his first debate

Did you see her on the Hannity interview afterward? She and her people are really doing some digging. She is tying him to the stimulus waste. Texas took the 2nd highest in stimulus funds in the nation. Wonder where it all went? Bachmann thinks she can still get in this. Who knows? Maybe she is pitching for VP?

If you are looking to blame someone, blame the Federal reserve. The are, by far, the worst thing to happen to the economy. Unless of course you agree with the stimulus money given to foreign banks.

During a 2½ year period starting at the end of 2007, the Federal Reserve provided more than $16 trillion in secret bailouts to banks and other companies around the world, according to a government audit of some of the U.S. central bank’s operations. Much of the Fed's largesse was lavished on banks in Europe (such as Barclays, left) and Asia, the audit revealed. More than $3 trillion, for example, went to financial institutions in just five European countries. Trillions more flowed toward some of the biggest banks in America. Institutions from Brazil and Mexico to South Korea and Canada also benefited.

The 266-page report, produced by Congress’s non-partisan investigative service known as the Government Accountability Office (GAO), has already sparked intense outrage since its release on July 21. Fed apologists, however, have been quick to defend the actions, saying they were “necessary” to “save” the economy and justified under the Federal Reserve Act.
