It's absolutely sickening.
Dems obstruct republicans and republicans obstruct dems.

You're surprised?

You aren't a real conservative, and neither are any of the Tea Partiers. When I think of a "real conservative," I think of someone with tact and class. Eisenhower, Teddy Roosevelt, etc. When I think of a Tea Partier, I think of a mixture of Jim Bakker and Timothy McVeigh.
Teddy Roosevelt was a progressive.

Sticks and stones........

Hey West, in my town, the "wealthy" pay upwards of $30,000 per year in property taxes.

That goes directly to the coffers of the township.

When a rich person buys a $100,000 car, they pay 7% sales tax ($7,000) + a gas guzzler tax in some cases.

That money goes directly to the state to help fund social programs.

Not to mention the federal and state income tax burden.

Some people are paying in excess of 50% of their income in just federal, state and property taxes.

How much more do you want?

and the left voted for a 2,800 page, $1 TRILLION DOLLAR health care bill which they didn't read at all.

Yet, you support them.

Please explain?
Just as 95% of African Americans have voted for every Democrat since Franklin Roosevelt.

As your premise amply points out, being black just ain't enough.

Going by what some of the left say, agreed. What other reason could it be? Cain is a bilderberg just like Obama. Cain is for a strong Federal Reserve just like Obama. Why wouldn't the ex head of the Kansas Federal Reserve be pro Federal Reserve?
Just another politician who thinks he can save the people with a plan that has been tried out many times and has failed each time. You cannot manipulate the economy and expect long term success. The busts are always much more destructive than the booms are helpful.

Default Your assumptions are misguided

I think it's racist to assume that all blacks vote for a candidate because that candidate is black, or that blacks all vote the same way, or that blacks assume that a black candidate has the most agreeable policies and should be supported without digging further.

It's racist and short-sighted to think that all blacks use race as the sole criteria in determining who to vote for.

It's also racist and misguided to assume that blacks are not intelligent voters.

Hermain Cain will be supported by a few blacks, but likely will not be supported by most. After all, he's a member of party that has a history of bigotry and racial insensitivity. His party got us in this mess and keeps us there with their regressive obstructionist tactics. His party is the party of George Bush. His party is clueless on how to solve the problems that plague this country, especially civil rights. Being exceptional at judging character, depth, intelligence, and common sense, blacks won't likely vote for this turbo-charged version of the hapless Clarence Thomas, simply because as a Republican, he's not good enough.

Cain certainly a major downgrade from the extraordinary President that we currently have.

you are a conservative, it makes sense you wouldn't vote for obama. being racist or not would be secondary in this instance.

the op's question assumes someone would take a complete change in political leanings to vote for HC. not gonna happen. a liberal wouldn't vote for any conservative candidate, let alone consider it seriously.
