Bernie Sanders and Dennis Kucinich are your political heroes? They believe that you are too stupid to think for yourself and that the government, in its infinite wisdom knows how to run your life better than you do; and you support these guys. Anyway, back on topic, how can you prove that a politician changed his views just to get elected?

To me that's not honest soul searching leading to a change of mind, that's just blowing with the political winds. Also, for a former FED Chairman to so voraciously deny the need to audit the FED, conveniently change his mind when the political winds change seems suspicious. I'm always suspicious of those running for office whose views seem to change with political winds. To from supporting the TARP bailouts, and deny the need to audit the FED, only to change stances on both when it was popular to do so while you're running for President smacks of pandering.
I have so much more respect for a person who will stick to their guns even if it's not popular to do so. Now if you're wrong you're wrong, but don't just jump position to position and act like you've held your current belief all along. I actually respected the fact that Rick Perry didn't backpedal from his DREAM Act position when it was brought up, it's not popular but he didn't back down. My political heroes, Ron Paul, Ralph Nader, Dennis Kucinich, Bernie Sanders, etc they all hold unpopular views that at times probably hurt their political careers but they won't compromise their core beliefs for political gain.
Mitt Romney and Herman Cain's only core convictions seem to be whatever will get them elected.

No no, you're right, Mitty Romney and Herman Cain's views just magically changed to be in accordance with the political winds. It's all just coincidence. You can trust them.

Maybe your heros problems are they don't change positions. They are not examining things, they want the world to think the only right way is their way. As an old women, I know, most of us, from time to time re-examine our ideas and realize the other side does have good points. Not to mention, compromise is needed in order to get anything accoumplished. As for Cain, I am not sure how many views he has changed. Of course you are not going to support a Republican ticket anyway so it really is a moot point.

NIta
I'd support it if Ron Paul was on the ticket, or a Republican who wanted to get the money out of politics.
