His plan endows the government with as much money as it takes in now and does not address the inflation it creates or spending.
How is that a solution?

In his own words. Thanks Roger. How he lays out the sales tax component against the current payroll tax, plus income tax is pretty clear. It can be found starting at about the 6 minute to 8 minute mark. Uses a family gross income of 50K It is layed out in his own words. A good 14 minutes to spend, whether against or for his proposal.
Frank,
There is only an 8 minute gap between Roger Bacon's post and your post. This does not leave enough time to listen to the entire 14 minute interview. You might try listening to the interview before asking a question. Inflation and spending are both addressed. You will have to decide if Mr Cain addresses them to your satisfaction.

What is new in this video that he hasn't preached about already?
You will have to take the time to listen for yourself. It is focused on the sales tax component of the 999, but you will have to do the work yourself.
It doesn't require work. It requires thinking. And I've done plenty of that. Was there something new and interesting you heard that you would like to share? What did he say that isn't common knowledge, that hasn't been an argument beaten to death?
PS. Personally, while I prefer that Ron Paul get on the republican ticket, it will be quite interesting to see Herman Cain make it.

I like Cain a lot and while he isnt absolutely everything I want i a President, I could get behind him. And honestly, for all you anti-Cain, pro-Obama crowd, it is about time we got someone in office that has actually done something in his life. Accomplished something of substance.
Obama did nothing. He went to college, hung out with marxists, was a community organizer (lol), and had a very, very short term as a Senator where he often voted Present. And thus far, he has made things worse in this country.
Cain versus Obama, only a hard left moron would vote for Obama. I think Cain could beat him easily though he will have to deal with some heavy bias bs attacks from Hollywood and the news media.
