If one follows the Old Testament one is practicing Judaism, complete with its ban on shellfish and stoning rape victims. Christians follow the teachings accorded to Jesus, those found in the New Testament, who NEVER condemned homosexuals. He did, however, say that we would be tested; maybe one's inability to treat certain others with loving compassion indicates a need for some spiritual growth.

Gandhi had it right when he said, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians.
