Let's think back...how many flavor of the month's have the Tea Party thought was the 'exactly right' candidate? First there was Bachmann, while they secretly opined for Sarah Palin, then there was Rick Perry who they found out was not very articulate and really 'steps in it' quite a lot and he has that pesky immigration policy problem, and then there was Herman Cain...that will show em, they can't even say we're racist now...but alas, he has a past, and now Newt...lol. It won't take long for him to implode...he not only has documented history of baggage that goes on and on, but he is crotchety and not really all that likeable either. It is honestly become embarrassing to be a Republican...sheesh!

I think a lot of it has to do with his recent remarks on auditing the FED, firing Bernanke and actually prosecuting these crooks...

Then he talks about debating 0bama for 90 minutes straight 7 times with no moderators...

Newt knows what to say and he's obviously very intelligent, the baggage he's carrying is gonna be tough to overcome though...

You left out Romney.

Who can't talk his way out of a paper bag defending the personal mandate he still supports.

When speaking of the Tea Party's crushes of the month...I don't think Romney is germaine to that subject.

That's because the establishment needs to crowd out the GOP field so that Paul doesn't wipe the floor with Romney's face. If the race was just the non-tea party types, then you'd only have Romney, Huntsman, and Paul up on stage. Giving Ron Paul THAT much exposure is extremely toxic to the establishment since Paul is as anti-establishment and anti neo-tea party you can get

One is a Scientific poll, the other is an ONLINE INTERNET SPAM POLL. Why is this so hard to grasp?

Ron Paul has never had his leg humped by the MSM as much as he is this year.

The Tea Party is running out of candidates. Gingrich is one of the few left standing, and they're desperate enough for anybody but Romney to actually give him a second look. But I expect his fall to be even quicker than the others, because unlike Bachmann, Perry and Cain, he isn't, and never has been, one of them. Too bad for them, they're going to be stuck with Romney in the end anyway.
