Opium use also apparently affected Chinese population outside China. In the USA, for instance, some estimates suggested that 30 percent of adult males of Chinese origin were addicted to opium smoking. Even higher proportions were reported for Chinese living in a number of Southeast Asian countries.
When I said I didn't see anything in the links proving your claim about CIA trying to get 30% of Chinese addicted, repasting the exact same links again doesn't help. Apparently you can't support your position.
