etc...

Individual:
Tom Cruise
Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt
Chris Rock
etc...

When you say Chris Rock is a black comedian, you are targeting a group.

When you say Chris Rock is a comedian, you are referring to his profession.

What is so difficult to understand?
