It was never going to be anyone but Romney. Finally it appears Republicans realize Romney's flip-flopping is something they can work with... he is merely a figurehead willing to conform to all Conservative ideals.

The Palin, Bachman, Cain, and Perry follies were just feel-good mini eras of stress relief. Gingrich would be the candidate but not with that personal life.

That's why even with all the whackos on display, I've been bored with the whole runup. Now if ya'll can get the economy to plunge, he might have half a chance.

Pretty much. They are alot more similar than different. What would Romney do different than Obama?

Offhand, I cannot think of anything. I think an "agenda" is in place well before a President is elected or reelected, and all Presidents are expected to follow it. It doesn't matter if it's Dem or a Repub in the WH.

the only difference I see between Obama and Romney is that Romney wouldn't push for expanding governments role in health care, such a mandates, etc.. Or maybe he would???????

Partistan hacks will tell you that it's different, because government involvement on a state level is great, but government involvement on a national level is communism.

lol... if the Iowa caucasus aren't enough to get you to see how quickly things chance in politics then nothing will. November is a long way away, I am sure there will be a lot of ups and downs

I agree. The polls will change.

That said, this is still a good sign for Romney.

If by "the people in charge" you mean the vast majority of sane, decent Americans who vote in primary and general elections, then I agree. There's no way in hell those people will allow Ron Paul to win.
