here were the numbers on 12/27
Ron Paul: 50.3
Mitt Romney: 31.0
Newt Gingrich: 10.0
Rick Santorum: 3.9
Rick Perry: 2.5
Michele Bachmann: 2.2
Jon Huntsman: 0.1

here they are today, 12/30
Mitt Romney: 46.0 +15
Ron Paul: 38.0 -12.3
Rick Santorum: 12.8 +8.9
Newt Gingrich: 2.6 -7.4
Rick Perry: 1.3 -1.2
Michele Bachmann: 0.6 -1.6
Jon Hunstman: 0.1 No change

Intrade - Markets

I pay more attention to this then these irrelevant crap polls. Romney right now is poised to take Iowa with a huge 15 point swing. Santorum is the only other candidate on the rise, moving up 9 points in 3 days. Paul had the largest drop, falling over 12 points and losing the lead.

I think if Santorum keeps charging he'll finish 2nd with Paul finishing 3rd. I'll post an update to this on election night.

I don't believe that polling either: No candidate can expect to get 46% of the vote, and Bachmann, Perry and Newt at less than 2% is unrealistic as well. Will Romney win? I think so and I agree Paul might fade to third or a distent second, but the voting will not be like what you are seeing.

This comes as no surprise...every consecutive leader in the polls has fallen
under close scrutiny. It looks like Romney will be the last man standing, as he's the only one not hindered by scandal or extremism. Interesting poll; glad you posted it.

I am at the point of not caring to much about polls (edit: even ones with Dr. Paul in the lead). When the final Caucus voting comes in, that is the "poll" that matters most. So I am just waiting patiently.

intrade predicted every state in 2008 and it will be right again in iowa.

intrade is unbiased, its pure markets.

im not saying your hero ron paul cant come back, im saying he would lose iowa if they held the caucus today.

markets change, but right now romney is the favorite.

Pretty quick flip-flop you've made there, from self-proclaimed "Ron Paul supporter" now to creating a new Anti Ron Paul thread a day.
Mitt Romney would be the prefect candidate for you
