Old farts don't like it when someone takes away their entitlements. Sorry he couldn't be like Bush coming in like a bleeding heart liberal with fistfulls of cash for hurricane victims and subsidized Medicare drugs.

Yes Florida is the geriatric capital of America ... and who can blame the Miami drug cartels who hate Paul and his drug policy?
91% welfare state and drug safe cartel haven ... Go figure they don't like Paul, though the geriatrics really should because he is the only one who will do what is necessary to insure they get their benefits. If Romney becomes president or if Obama stays president you can guarantee a new "stimulus plan" and more wars that will very likely finally destroy the dollar for good, and then the old folks will simply start dropping off like flies from exposure to the elements and malnutrition or outright starvation when this whole country shuts down ...
Obviously 91% of the Republican voters in Florida hate the Consitution, liberty, and freedom.
Or perhaps the average Florida voter is thinking to themselves, "I may drop dead of old age within the next 5 years, so why would I vote for someone who might drop dead of old age tomorrow?"

And this is exactly why it won't really matter much that Paul is not polling well in Florida. If Romney carries Florida, then everyone else gets no delegates no matter how well they did in the primary vote.
If Romney takes both SC and FL, I don't think anyone can catch him. The one place he's not supposed to be able to win (based on 2008 numbers) is in the South. Everyone knows he can win the North, Great Lakes, Midwest, Mountain West and West Coast.
The difference between Paul and the other contenders is that Paul is still a winner if he can finish as a strong second place in as many states as possible. Sure I'd rather see him win outright, but Ron Paul is more about the movement than the man. The movement will outlive his candidacy for President. The more votes he can gain in a second place finish, the clearer the message becomes: These are issues that have real life and a lot of voters behind them. This is why you won't see Paul drop out. He'll run till the convention.

Where you think it's gonna leave you...if 'this whole country shuts down'...pal?
Still early but it looks like Romney will probably get the nomination, yet he is disliked by sooooo many in the Republican party because of his Mormon faith and his moderate stance and his continual "flip flopping".
Just shows you how extremely weak the field is against him
