The current Congessman is facing a tough battle for re-election in El Paso. His strong challenger is Barbara Carrasco,a Republican. She brings many new ideas and hopes for an that has failed to achieve its full potential because of the stranglehold by the Democracts. Massive debt, over 31 officials indicted or imprisoned in the last two year. Time for change!
Poll released by El Diario, indicates 37% of people surveyed are NOT happy with the four Dem candidates. Take a look at Barbara Carrasco for Congress web site. Anyway, let's give a woman a chance and make history by having the First Hispanic woman from El Paso.

I thought that Republicans don't care about race or ethnicity.
There is little doubt that Sylvester Reyes has to go. He is worthless as a representative. I just went to Ms Carrascos web site and so far it sounds good... El Paso is a strange community though and I am afraid because of the population there that she will be in a uphill battle. I get so sick of hearing "the democrats are for the peeeople... " Everytime I hear it, it makes my skin crawl at the ignorance.
I'll give Reyes his due for Operation Hold T he Line back when he was heading the Border Patrol in El Paso but since then he's been a complete failure for his constituents. Vote Carrasco!
