Ron paul is a libertarian. He may be running under the GOP ticket, but he is a libertarian. He believes in private property rights. Which means he believes you should be able service or not service a customer for any reason. This means you can deny me services because I'm black. If you believe in ron paul, you believe in this message.
since you are so focused specifically on race, i suggest that you start reading www.blackagendareport.com to see how YOUR black/white president is treating black people, and americans in general.
ron paul is trying to protect black americans- by not getting them killed in senseless wars that only benefit the few, while taking away from the many-and you are focused on the delusional idea that businesses intentionally want to lose customers in a recession heading towards depression?
also, you seem to see blacks only as victims, which is racist in itself, not accepting that there are many black merchants out there who could do the same thing-deny service to whites-but also, again, highly unlikely--- when the point of being a merchant is to EXPAND your customer base and sell to as many customers as possible.
which scenario is more likely? where is the common sense? with a free and unfettered private sector, you, as a black customer, can choose to go to a black vendor if you want-or you could choose to be a vendor instead of a customer, and work towards your own financial independence. blacks don't have to just be "consumers", you know. where is that written?
another thing-you wouldn't have this story with ron paul because you wouldn't be sending soldiers to get killed. how many of those body parts belonged to black people, do you think?:
The number of dead U.S. soldiers whose remains were dumped in landfill has been revealed and it is much higher than the military originally admitted.
The Army had initially said it was unable to tell how many of the soldiers' bodies, repatriated from Iraq and Afghanistan, had been part of the process that has been a national scandal for America.
But it has now been revealed that the remains of at least 274 troops - comprising 976 body fragments - that could not be identified or were later recovered from the battlefield were incinerated and sent to a landfill site in Virginia, operated by Waste Management Inc.
So let me get this straight. He starts a company that is supposed to be printing newsletters. They end up being racist newsletters, he doesn't know they contain racism, yet signs off on them anyway. As a black man, I don't think obama has been the greatest, but I'm supposed to think ron paul is a better option. Well atleast ron paul doesn't believe in hanging "no blacks allowed" signs in front of stores, oh wait, he does believe in that.
You can take this and run with it if you like, but if you take the time to read the news letters, there is very little content that can be considered racist. Paul admits to signing off on them before throughly reading them, but the only thing he did wrong was trusting someone else to write them. If you want to see racist, look no farther than Obama's books.
Because while he believes Ron Paul is not racist, there is the matter of the racist newsletters being printed. Why are you dismissing the fact that a man who is running for president of the united states allowed racist newsletters, which he signed off on, to be printed and sold under his watch. Did you read the article about the newsletters?
Actually, allowing discrimination is a verygood reason not to support Ron Paul.
Being told to leave a restaurant because you are black, or "seem gay", is unacceptable in a civilized culture.
Items like this are why Paul has difficulty breaking out of the 10-15% polling range. Many folks consider this sentiment to be unacceptable.
And how long do you think a restaurant would stay in business today with a ''no blacks allowed'' sign?
