Yeah I don't know if I'd call it funny, but there is an ever-widening gap between who the GOP base is willing to back and who does well among the general electorate. Pretty much anyone with half a brain around back when the party went all in on the southern strategy said at the time this would come back to haunt them, and it looks increasingly like that's the case.

I don't think "Willard" is gonna lose, but if he does I'll be just fine. Lived through 4 years of dumbass and prospered, I suspect I can survive 4 more.

a 48-47 split is horrible for romney in swing states, since obama already has IMO 214 ev's already in the bag. romney needs a 60-40 polling in this area to be competitive vs. obama. 48-47 tells me they split the swing states. romney needs to win the majority of them.

Are you gonna cry when oblama loses? You and Tempest can have a cry-in.

im writing in ron paul. im not chained to a party like you.

i do like forecasting and betting political markets though. so if me looking at a poll and analyzing it is being for obama then it is what it is. im not interested in the partisan rhetoric trace.

It will be fun if Gingrich is the GOP nominee. If it's Romney, it'll be a snoozefest like 1996.

I dunno, the longer the primary goes on the worse his numbers tank with independents. It'll be fun watching Romney have to pivot back around to win over the non-wingnut 80% of the electorate.

I doubt the boys at the lab have rolled out all the necessary upgrades to the RomneyTron OS kernel.
