On one hand, they yammer on about how Hispanics need to learn English and assimilate, but in the next breath they're pandering with Spanish speaking babble and printing "Viva Bush" stickers. They can't make up their minds.

I think this really backfired on Newt, but I'm not really sure this will not work for Romney. I guess he's trying to cover all of his bases. Newt got skewered by the Univision reporter when he did the interview
His son speaks very well and as a hispanic myself you can tell he is quite fluent in the language which I admire. That being said this is nothing more than pandering since Obama has very high approval ratings amongst hispanics.

I'm quite aware of that fact. Romney will take Florida and his son speaking Spanish isn't going to sway hispanic voters in this state which was my point.
