I think Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are genuinely friends and have respect for each. Is there some coordination between them? Maybe. I don't think it's about Ron Paul even wanting to be a running mate, but if Romney becomes president it could lead to Paul being offered some key position or Rand or both...who knows? I have heard Ron Paul say that Mitt Romney is kinder to him than any of the other candidates. He says the other cadidates have made no effort to even be friendly to him and Mitt has gone out of his way to be. I know that Mrs. Paul and Ann Romney are friends also. It's sort of a mutual respect sort of thing imo. However, you never know...there could be more to it eventually if the need arises.

Never going to happen. Romney is using Paul the same way McCain used Huckabee to tag team against Romney in 2008. Did Huckabee get anything out of it when McCain passed him over for Palin?

The way you worded that makes it seem like Paul doesn't know he's being used. He's not. Being friendly with someone =/= an alliance. RP knows what he's doing. He's helping whittle down the candidates until he's the firm anti-Romney.

Santorum is just a cry baby. They are just attacking his records.

What most don't see is Paul is doing this to get rid of Santorum and Gingrich, while spending as little money as possible. He will need all the funding to run a full campaign against Romney, who has unlimited money.

There is little bad thing can say about Paul. The best they can do is he is too "old".

The next best they can do is he has no "leadership" because he only get 1 or 2 bill that pass. Hey, that is a good thing, what did these "leaders" did in the last 30 years that benefit the country. All they have enough done is pooping on us over and over again.

It's very interesting to see that this thread was created by dixiegirl7, who is known Romney supporter. Could this be a sign that the Romney camp is starting to court Ron Paul supporters? A little reading between the lines here suggests that Romney knows that he cannot win the general election without at least attempting to bring some Paul people into his camp. Assuming Paul doesn't win the nomination, which is entirely possible, what are you offering us Team Romney?

I do not like Palin but you do realize Tina Fey is the one who said that? Not Palin?

And you can actually see Russia from certain parts of Alaska.
