I think if you look at her policy stances (as well as those of Bill) you will find that the Clintons are fairly centrist. I understand that many folks think that they are leftist, but I think that has more to do with Rush Limbaugh (and his clones) always saying "ultra-left-wing Hillary" than any real attachment to reality.
Then how do you explain this quote from Hillary?:
"We are going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Sounds VERY leftist to me!
Every government in the world "takes things away from you for the sake of the common good." Does thinking any taxes should ever be higher than they currently are always automatically make someone a leftist, no matter what the situation? What if the tax rate was 1% and the whole infrastructure was falling apart, with no police forces or millitary? Would she still be a "leftist" if she said the same in that situation?

The tax rate was 10-12% back in the early 1900s and the infrastructure didn't fall apart.
Hillary wants a very high tax rate, like 50% and that would really hurt the economy.
That's why I call her Hillary "Rob-'em" Clinton!
*He's divorced, and his current wife is 25 years younger
This little *detail* really bugs me about Thompson and I'm sure a lot of women voters would agree. I don't think I'm as bothered about the divorce as I am about his current wife being young enough to be his daughter.

Exactly what infrastructure did we have in the early 1900s? Are you campaigning on the platform of "Dirt Roads for Everyone!"?
