Too bad. Kucinich was a credible anti-war voice. Since Paul isn't running for Congress again, that means that we can now unanimously vote ourselves into every war we can possibly get into.

I just read up on Kucinich I actually liked a lot of his ideas. Tried to impeach Bush, was against the wars, against patriot act. Went a bit far with the socialist medicine crap and the anti gun stuff but bout 50/50 in my opinion of a good guy.

^^^ This.....

How soon everybody forgets that Kucinich was also going to take Bush and Cheney to task for their war crimes.....

Kucinich had the smoking gun gift wrapped for Congress after they banged Scooter Libby and what did Pelosi say??? "There isn't enough time left on their terms to impeach them....."

It took 3 months to impeach Nixon....4 to try Clinton and acquit him....

Say what you want about Kucinich....at least he means what he says....

Paul and Kucinich are very similar in their stances. The thing is the far right doesn't, or won't let themselves understand is that libertarian and liberal philosophies often go hand in hand.

Anybody who aligns themselves with Ron Paul and would vote a guy like Gingrich, Santorum or Romney in office as opposed to Kucinich simply has no clue.

Nice to see liberal hero Kucinich fired. Way to go Ohio Democrats![/LEFT]
Be careful what you wish for. You may not like what you see.

First, Kucinich was replaced with another Liberal

The $636 billion defense appropriations bill in 2009 passed House 395-34 vote. Kucinich voted against it, and Kaptur voted for it.

The bill included $127.3 billion in additional defense spending for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, of which Dennis was against.

The other $447 billion omnibus appropriations bill passed 221 to 202. It was Kucinich joining 27 other Democrats and every Republican voting against it. Kaptur voted for it. Kucinich did support the veterans benefits, but he voted against the larger bill because it included Billions of military spending for policies in the Middle East which included $239M to Pakistan.

Dennis is my anti militarism guy
Rumor has it Kucinich will be running in Washington State so I wouldn't
be celebrating too soon.

He was/is a great Statesman and he deserves a continued voice. Fingers
crossed, that he gets it

I think Fox News will offer him a job. People seem to like him personally.
