Actually delegates do matter in a brokered convention. Most delegates are bound to a certain candidate at least on the first ballot after that they can switch. Seeing how Ron is projecting to get most of the delegates in the states that were mere beauty contests and the winner in numbers really didn't matter if you didn't have people stay behind to pick delegates then you won't be represented. States like Iowa,Minnesota,Nevada,Colorado,Missouri etc etc etc..
You seem to be really pissed about Paul's delegate strategy, because that's all you seem to be posting about. :-)
I just love the hypocritical Ron Paul supporters, they act like they care about values of democracy, the constitution, and etc.....all while screaming about ignoring the will of the masses so the guy in last place can win.
You have to admit, Ron Paul supporters give a crap about the will of the masses.
The first round they are required to vote for how the masses voted. That means that Romney had just over half the votes and will get half the delegates voting for him to open the voting.
They need to edit this:
"This is the grass roots taking a stand to change the direction of the party from the county level," said Carl Bunce, Nevada chairman of Paul's campaign and a delegate. "This is bigger than just Ron Paul. This is about trying to get a guy who finished 3rd in the state the most total delegates from that state; to Hades with the voters and democracy. Long live King Ron the First"
There, fixed.
So is it bigger than Ron Paul or not? Your "King Ron" kinda contradicts that. Besides these people are voters participating in a "democratic" process in a transparent manner. If you want a democracy so bad maybe you should move to one or I guess support the national democratic vote bill.
You really thing that the GOP would go with the fourth place guy In a brokered convention, lol.
GOP will go for the one that best to take Obama.
The Paul supporters will only vote for Paul. On the other hand Romney, Gingrich and Santorum's supporters will throw their support on whoever the nominate.
Yes, base on the "vote", Paul captures only 15% or so. And without this 15% vote, Romney will not able to win the presidency.

No, we don't want a democracy. We want a republic.
Democracy is the reason why we get to this. Democracy is nothing more than 2 wolves and a lamb vote on what is for dinner.

Yet, head to head with Obama, Paul is the only one at this moment in time, that beats him.

I think a basic misunderstanding of what the country is, is perhaps what drives your anger. In a Democracy, yes, the will of the masses count. But not in a Republic. We are a Republic. In a Republic, the rights of the 49% cannot be taken away by the 51%.

What Ron Paul supporters want in Nevada and are fine with on a moral level, is for the rights of the 9% (the Ron Paul voters) to have the majority say.
All while talking about having the real values of Government that none of the other candidates have.
In Ron Paul World 9% > Romney's 51%
