Seriously. I've heard Jews and Catholics do it all the time

Because all I heard her say was this: "She’s never really dealt with the economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing." Which is absolutely true.
Ann Romney apparently said "What women really care about are economic issues". Rosen then blurted out that Ann Romney "never worked a day in her life". Tell us where Ann Romney deserved that kind of treatment based on a simple statement of truth?

BTW Don't you think that, since Ann Romney is campaigning with her husband, that maybe, just maybe she is actually talking to women and that this is the feedback that she is getting?

Whether one gives birth or not, raising kids to be productive
members of society is hard work, whoever does it.
What I find laughable is this scenario that "pretty little Ann just
sat in the corner all day, brushing her hair and doing her nails"

There are women that have five children and work.
It's been done by women for a long, long time.
I'm the product of a divorced working mother of four

I was lucky. My mother was well educated and yes, our
family had money. And she had all that, before she had children.

But, in many cases, women are forced to work outside the home.
Let's face it, not all jobs are "to die for", I love going to work jobs.
And, they are women with children, without husbands.

But with all of that contrast, there's always been a mutual respect
between women about their choices and lot in life. At least the ones, I know.

I'm not going to say Rosen should have known better, because
by her comments, I simply don't think she knows her ass from
her elbow

If the Dems want to keep defending her on this one, all I
can say is "Where has your Party Gone?" - Fishing maybe
Out to lunch or just bat crazy in love with the idea
it's the rich against the poor - I'm thinking the latter.

Hey, did you guys know that just because ONE liberal person makes a statement it doesn't mean all other liberals agree. I don't think she should have said what she did, but the point she was trying to make is that Ann Romney is out of touch with the average American. My mom stayed home with my brother and I when we were small and I have friends who stay home with their kids. It is tough and definitely not a cake walk. But all the stay at home moms I know have to budget and do all the work themselves. Ann Romney doesn't face the same challenges of a typical stay at home mom. I don't really see how anyone could dispute that.

Look, what Rosen said was insensitive, and her point, while it may have been a valid one, could have been made without further insinuating that stay at home moms don't do any real work.

Is this blown up more than it needs to be? Sure. But this "war on moms" is not nearly as blown out of proportion as The War on Women™. I'm sure the Romney campaign would be happy to drop the issue if Obama's camp would drop the war on women nonsense, that way we can all get to the real issues. But I can see why that would not be in the president's best interest.

They do, and it's for material gain 80% to 90% of the time, from what I've seen growing up in a large multi-cultural metro.

We get it. We know what Ragin Rosen's point was
I do not agree that Ann Romney is out of touch with the
"average American woman". So there

No offense, but if a woman will have to work while raising 5 kids maybe she should have fewer children.

Well, she is well and truly UNDER the bus;

Wolf Blitzer Puts Hilary Rosen Through the Wringer, Forces Her to Apologize to Ann Romney

I'm thinking cause he knows how much this can hurt obama.

Axelrod to CNN: Rosen is 'your employee, not ours' - POLITICO.com

Axelrod to CNN: Rosen is 'your employee, not ours'

Oh yes, she is an adviser, in the inner loop, gets the talking points, has been to the WH 35 times, has seen the POTUS 5 of those times and his top advisers a bunch more.

Quote:
"I didn't hear an apology," Blitzer told Rosen
Because it really wasn't an apology. Just look at this hateful leftist's face as Wolf FORCES her to look in the camera and suck on that lemon in her mouth.

Got to watch that interview with Wolf...He's like a pit bull.
