Cannot answer the question since the question itself is not accurate. I would assume that after he retires in 2017 he will go on the speaking circuit and make Millions just like every other past President, I am sure that will continue to drive the righties crazy, and that will be a good thing.
He will sit back in the oval office and watch all the republican cry babies try to come up with a reason why Romney lost the election.
I dunno the way things are going with the collective hysteria among the koolaid chuggers they might just up and decide en masse Romney won anyway and act accordingly.
That's basically what happened for a couple hours after McCain conceded in 2008:
He will go around the World dragging in big bucks for giving speeches ... all while wearing his Nobel Peace Prize he got for thinking about World Peace.
Then Obama would have let the Bush tax cuts expire back
in December 2010. He did not.
Have you forgotten about something called "Congress?"
The Republicans threatened to stop unemployment benefits and other services. Ending tax cuts to the wealthy won't make that much of a difference right away. Just like the tax cuts, it will take years.
The Bush tax cuts helped everyone, not just the rich. I hope both Democrats and Republicans realize this. I don't think I've ever complained about that program, only the inequity of our tax code. Ending the program would have increased my taxes too. It's not a big difference, but I've appreciate the small increase in my personal exemption and the standard deduction every year. So I never wanted all the Bush tax cuts to end, just the loopholes and breaks for people who are millionaires. This thread isn't about taxes, so I won't elaborate because it would be off-topic.
If he loses the election then I think he will take the John Q Adams route, becoming a congressman.
