wow, how impressed are we with this and how much difference does it really make? I am not sure anyone really cares who Castro's niece would support if she could vote here...

Would you say the same thing if it was the KKK supporting Obama?

I do think it tells us something. It tells us that the ideology of the candidate being supported probably pretty much matches the ideology of the person giving the support; in this case it is a very radical/communist ideology. If it were the KKK, it would suggest a very bigoted ideology, no?

Yep. C'mon over and spew your communist/deranged social/political messages at our Universities and btw, its election time, drop by any voting booth and cast your vote - no i.d. required. Makes total sense to make an exception and grant this idiot a VISA.

Not really.... all it says is that Castro's neice likes Obama more than the other candidates. In order for this to mean anything, we should ask the question "How does Obama feel about Castro's neice?"

I guess you totally missed my point: she can't vote in our country and I doubt people really are impressed with who someone in another country is supporting. it has nothing to do with ideology.

Well, if we have Communists supporting one candidate, I'd say that candidate is probably more in line with Communism, especially when we see a pattern (which we do.)

I'm not argueing this with you or anyone else and it does indicate something, but my point still is: who she supports really is a non issue...She isn't an American, she can't vote and she has no clout I don't think...it is almost a nothing story...

We already know that one since the US State Dept. issued her a visa to the USA to make this announcement about her support for Obama.
