Could be a factor in states like Virginia, with large veteran populations.
Quote:
U.S. military veterans overwhelmingly support Mitt Romney over President Barack Obama, according to a poll on Monday.
Vets — who makes up about 13 percent of the population — give Romney a 24-point edge over Obama, 58 percent to 34 percent, Gallup found in its survey released on Memorial Day. For the 24 percent of adult men who are veterans, a whopping 60 percent told pollsters they support Romney. Just 32 percent of male veterans say Obama is their choice this November.
The GOP for reasons I'd rather not post always win the Vet vote. Not this vet though. Unless romney can take MI or OH or WI he can have VA and NC and still lose.
I'm not so sure of these results. Paul has received more donations from vets than all the candidates combined. Willard was coming in last. They do not like Willard and the far right's warmongering, nor does anyone with any sanity.

I'm sure you can back this up?
