You see the Iraq invasion as a humanitarian mission.

Interesting perspective. Bizarre as well.

A president must be willing to lose the next election if it means doing what is right- we don't have that type either.

A "community organizer" is someone who should stick to creating vegetable gardens in vacant lots of failed cities.

Real leadership is not caring if everyone LIKES you all the time..a real leader- must be so dedicated to the national family that they are willing to give up their life in service of the nation- we don't have that either.

The prime purpose of a President is to be a protector...a patron...not just some jerk who talks about JOBS...while injustice prevails- what is the point of money if you are submerged in corruption and social instability?

A nation is not a company- It is not AMERICA INC. A nation is a huge family...and you run it as such- seeing that the business community do not like families much other than their own little tribe...It might be a refreshing change to understand that constant never ending profit seeking for profits sake only leads to drudgery and enslavement.....Why can't we be more like Greece....and enjoy life?

How about Jamie Dimond for president, seeing as businessmen are so revered by the RW.

You are correct the whole oil claim is for the intellectually lazy. Other countries benefited from the oil, not the US. France who was against deposing Saddam Hussein has benefited more from the oil than us.

No way, I much rather prefer community organizers with no foreign policy experience and then complain about the opposing ticket's VP having no foreign policy experience.

^^Well, your guy's businessman, Herman Cain, had zero knowledge of foreign policy. He may have been a great pizza CEO, but as my DH said once, "He doesn't know as much as we do about foreign policy".

Obama was a member of the US Senate, which does deal with foreign policy. Plus, this thread is not about Obama, as he was not a businessman. That much is true.
