That is interesting, but pointless at this point. Dems took back the Senate last year.
No they didn't--they came up one short, although Dale Schultz, a moderate R, voted with them this last session to vote some of the more extreme R bills.
You are very obtuse and you are certainly a shill.
I always use Merriam Webster as a dictionary and what is funny is that your generic dictionary that you linked to supports my claim that Trace did technically use the word shill correctly.
It would help you in life, if you understood that sometimes words have multiple meanings and connotations. Stop being such a shill.
Obtuse? You claim to live in Wisconsin and you claim to be a unionized teacher, which would require at least an undergraduate degree and the expectation that you are a reasonably educated person. Still, you evidently don't read the papers, read the materials you receive at work from your union on the elections, or watch the news, because you had no idea that more seats were up for recall than Walker, and you're claiming that you know zip about the John Doe investigation, which is also ALL OVER your papers and televised news. I'm glad you figured out how to use a dictionary, even if it is incorrectly, but it might be helpful to work on your reading comprehension skills and learning to use words in context while you look up those big words.
Well, I rode a train from Chicago to St. Paul yesterday and got to talk to a lot of Wisconsin residents. Seems they got what they wanted, which was the basis of this thread. I talked to a few Chicago union types that were hoping Walker would continue to reign in the unions. Perhaps a bit of foreshadowing for the Land of Lincoln? Who am I kidding. They are a mess.
Now that Walker experienced the recall and he knows he likely doesn't have the majority, it looks like a win-win for Wisconsin and its residents. Reign in the unions, but don't kill them. Its not what the residents want.
What will be interesting to see is how much Republicans will overplay their hand with this. We all know they will.
The Wisconsin Senate isn't even in session again until 2013. In the interim, there is another election for that Senate seat, and this time it's under the Congressional districts drawn up by Walker and the state GOP....and Voter ID will now be required.
The Democrat "victor" in that Senate recall election will never vote on a single bill before getting thrown out of office and replaced by Wangaard.

That is what made the most recent GOP takeover of governships and state houses the gift that keeps on giving.
Sure are. Those on the right didn't know that? The freedom fighters were able to get two GOP senators recalled last time around. This time not only is Walker up for recall, but the lt. governor, and four GOP senators including the majority leader.
All they need is one to be overthrown and the destructive far right wing Walker agenda will be stopped dead in it's tracks
