When did Reagan cut spending?

Good call out. Reagan in NO way reduced spending. While he claimed he was for smaller gov.. He made it larger than ever. He tripled the deficit and that is in no way reducing spending. Dixie...you have been listening to those that want to spin ronnie as something good, not the reality he was.

The focus of the election should be on changing Congress. That's where the power lies, not with the Presidency.
The President is more powerful than Congress. He has executive orders and he spends the money. Congress just appropriates the money.
