Anyhow, I think Christie is a pretty special guy. A lot of charisma. The opposite of Mittens. If he is chosen for VP, it could be like the Kerry/Edwards ticket. Tall, boring dude and short feisty round guy. I do hope he is better than Edwards though....

Anyway, Christie does have an impressive record and approval with the people of New Jersey.
The only thing I said about your post was that is was:

Make Christie a healthy guy and his ratings would fall. Right now he's a charming chubster with an opinion; if he loses 70 pounds, he's a smug a-hole who thinks he knows everything.

Not surprising. Republican leadership works; Democrat leadership doesn't.

I thought the left side was supposed to be open, all accepting and not judgemental and the right side were bigots. From some of the statements here, it appears we have the sides wrong....

You'll hear jokes about candidates from both sides. People are people.

of course you will, but I have head a lot more from the left, in the past dozen years than the right and there are some things that should be off limits, especially on the net or in public. It is in poor taste, if nothing else and very much like back in JR High or younger. What you say, in private among friends is one thing, what you say to the world is quite another. I don't care which side says it.

I think you notice it more when the left does it because you are from the right. It's worse when the "enemy" does the same thing. You haven't said anything about Ron Paul supporters that was in poor taste have you?
It's always about policy.

Back in April, a Quinnipiac University poll showed his approval rating at 59%, which, in NJ is even higher than most democratic governors. Here is a LINK

I think you notice it more because there is more hypocrisy when it comes from someone on the left. The same way it is worse when a conservative is caught doing something sexually "deviant", for example. People dislike hypocrisy more than the act itself.
