The disdain for these groups emitted by the Right is aimed at the very being of these people. It's a wonder why it's only 4 or 5 percentage points.

Obama certainly presents some question marks, but they are on complicated issues where smart people know the answers are not so easy: getting out of Afghanistan sooner, cutting gov't employment, rading medical marijuana facilities, not penalizing finance execs, continuing some wrong subsidies, various painful budgetary decisions, etc.

Obama continues to poll (Gallup) below the average.

Nixon...................59%
Reagan.................54%
Clinton..................58%
Bush Jr.................49%
OBAMA................47%
Ford ....................45%
Bush Sr.................37%
Carter...................32%

Presidential Job Approval Center

No one has ever won a second term with a Gallup approval rating below 53% (Bush Jr).

This is because the 9% who remain undecided until election day break 80/20 in favor of the challenger.

In other words, if Obama isn't leading by seven points on election day, he'll lose the popular vote and likely the election.

Obama's losing and knows it. That's why he's focused on buying more youth votes. Ole Rushbo may be right about the next moves. *(forgiving student loans, and then forgiving subprime mortgages of the minorities and low-income crowd, and hey, mayyybe even an EO to make pot legal in Oct. though I grin even typing that one)

Nope, you are trying to keep people from knowing why Obama failed on his promise to straighten out the economy in three years or he was going to get out.

Are you serious? It took over 8 years to screw it up so do you really think that ANYONE can fix this mess in 4 and not to mention that I have noticed that not ONE republican on this forum can explain why the leading republican leaders vowed on Jan 20 2009 not to agree on anything that the president does.

What you have is an uninspiring President and an equally uninspiring challenger. Unless Romney manages to kick his image and campaign up a couple of gears, many people will just vote for the 'devil they know'.

Is it a slight possibility that he could be doing the right thing to do

Those are the votes he probably has anyway. I think it more likely that Obama will try to offer something to middle American independents who will decide who wins and who loses.

mitt is robotic only because he cannot say or do anything until they (corperations) tell him. This is the reason why he avoids the press and people that might ask him a hard question

Don't you mean obama? Because you've just described him perfectly.

You need to learn how to troll better. This was a fail.

No, I think that you need to learn to pay attention better. Actually they are both on the doll of private companies but mitt is clueless without them telling him what to say, which explains why he seems to flip flop so often.
