So what is his real plan to fix the economy??
Cutting everything & going back to a lot of the bush ways will only make the economy worse.
Public servants are a win/lose. You have to pay them so they suck money out of the economy in order to do work that virtually never produces anything in return. Firefighters, police officer, teachers, soldiers and other public servants do not produce a product that can be found on the shelf of your local Wal-Mart, nor do they create anything that can then be exported to be sold in Europe. The public sector is a drain on the economy. It costs money but without producing any. And yet we know we need the services that they provide.

The net impact of hiring a ton of government workers mostly just for the sake of hiring them is to suck money away from the private sector -- the portion that actually generates all the capital to begin with -- while failing to create any revenue. So when you hear a Republican complain about big government, they're complaining about something very real. Public servants are essentially dead weight being carried by taxpayers from the private sector. When that dead weight is relatively light, everyone is okay. We benefit from the services the government workers provide and we can see it as money well spent. When that dead weight is crushingly heavy and we see examples of the government wasting money right and left, it just ticks people off.

The single greatest lie the Democratic party line spouts almost on a daily basis: They want the rich to pay more taxes because it's "fair" and it'll somehow help poor people. The reality is that it doesn't help the poor one bit. It's just a ploy to punish the wealthy for being wealthy while the poorer Americans cheer them on. Every government program in existence shamelessly wastes money. They are not fiscally sane nor responsible because they don't have to be. So it's not "rob from the rich and give the poor" so much as it is "rob from the rich and then recklessly waste all their money on stupid stuff." A dollar taxed is a dollar mostly wasted. A dollar given to a reputable well organized charitable organization is a dollar actually given to the poor.

Why is it that you believe that having an enormous government workforce -- a giant crushing weight sucking the life out of the real economy -- is actually a good thing?

Ummm, I am now sure that you lack any reading ability or comprehension. Read the thread topic, It is about Romney, much as you attempt to change the conversation to allow your bleeting praise ovf Nobama.

You should follow your own advice and go troll somewhere else. Iraq perhaps.

Lightbulb Romney Fans What Are His plan to Fix The Economy????

The standard republican mantra of tax cuts for the rich and trickle-down for the rest of us. Judging from his "business experience" at Bain Captital, he'll promote sending American jobs to China in a big way.

Double dip, anyone?

Romney really reminds me of that old Beatle song, "Nowhere man". The guy stand s for nothing at all except for the concept of power. He wants it and he will do or say anything to get it. He's not left or right or in the middle but he's whatever the polls say is most popular that day.
Never forget the guy is a corporate raider. The lowest skum suckers in the whole pond. Hey, Destroy a good profitable company, get rid of a few thousand good American jobs and send them overseas. No problem as long as the skum sucker gets his millions.

Sometimes I don't even get the feeling the guy is alive when I watch him. He moves like a robot to be sure. His responses to questions sound like tape recordings on a default setting. He has got to be one of the biggest phonies I have ever heard or seen in my life.

Default Romney's Economy...

Privatized wealth, socialized debt.

Anyone who wants to see how it'll work just needs to look at Greece, Spain, Italy, etc. All that "austerity" crap that isn't working over there is exactly what Romney wants to import here.

Romney has no plans for anything. You don't need a plan when you want to be a hobby President. This guy wants the status of the job and nothing more. He doesn't seem passionate about anything except securing a legacy for himself.

I find it funny when Repubs say that Businesses aren't hiring because of uncertainty. Reality is, they aren't hiring because of certainty. They are certain there is not enough demand yet, to make hiring more workers worthwhile.
