The astrogolically inclined should note that for the first time since 2000, election night has Mercury in retrograde.
Good observation, and being among those "astrologically inclined" myself, I take it to mean some inevitable "hanging chad" kinda screwup again, courtesy of FL or a similar swing state, and probably involving the courts (Sagittarius).

And like the typical astrological advice for "retrograde" periods, yes, it's considered an "inauspicious" time for starting new endeavors and "initiatives" ... including picking any new Presidents (like the Mercury retrograde when Bush was elected in 2000). But on the other hand, it's also considered an excellent time to continue and complete any work that's already been started.... by the current one.

Although astrologically or otherwise, the "mundane" electoral numbers (and not the popular vote), already give Obama a tremendous lead.

any poll that shows either candidate up by 13 at this moment is suspect at best and a fraud at worst.

This poll is way too optimistic. I don't know where they fouled up, but it doesn't seem realistic. I'm a little surprised they'd publish results that seem so far off. And I'm an Obama supporter.

translation: mateo is hallucinating. She read the thread and offered a reasonable response. That would constitute 'not listening' only for someone who is prone to delusional thought.

Have you ever heard of an outlier? A lot of other polls suggest that this is an outlier.

A lesser known fact is that most polls claim that there is a 95% chance that they are within their 3% margin of error.

Actually, what I'd consider an "outlier" is the opinion of anyone who starts literally dozens of threads just for the purpose of bashing Obama!
