If Romney picks McDonnell that would clinch Virginia.

Obama is "up" by 1 point in the RCP average for Virginia. I think Virginia may revert to its traditional red state status this cycle. We'll see.

Folks don't vote for VP.

I don't think a McDonnell pick would sway VA voters much.

The only really reliable polling is at Intrade and through the month of June, Obama has held a 10-pt lead on Romney. We will watch and see if that changes. Obama was leading by 20-pts in April. So, the gap is closing. We will see if that continues.

I think there will be a virtual dead heat in polling by the time late October rolls around. The key will be voter turnout, which republicans have worked very hard to suppress.

Intrade is not a poll. It's a prediction market.

You have never heard of this poll? They did some of the most accurate polling first in the latest WI elections.

Yes, which is why I still think he might be the pick. VA is going to be key to all of this.

Intrade is not a poll. Intrade is based on predictions and is actually more reactive than anything. If you play the ponies, Intrade probably works for you. I realize you are praying for an Obama victory, but hopefully your prayers won't be answered.

Yet one that people put real $$$$ on... Almost like a sports book. So if Intrade has him up by ten then the wise guys believe he will win by 10....
