Obama 47, Romney 44 - with a margin of error of 3.8%

Perhaps more importantly, Obama's approval in the state according to this poll is only 44%.

And this is PPP...which Nate Silver has recently found to have a "house effect" that leans to the Democrats of over 3 points.

Which must mean Romney is ahead by at least 5 points.

I don't know who advises Obama but the notion that you can simply pander to Hispanics and ignore white voters is going to come crashing down around him and the Dems.

They better think of some stuff quick.

Ed...you forgot the manufactured war on women, ala Sandra Fluke, the "If I had a son, he'd look just like...", I'm evolving on gay marriage, and reaching way back, the community organizer role reprised in the famous white house lawn beer summit with the cop and the professor. Man has his priorities in order, no?

Very true the gay marriage thing was a mistake as well. These things play well with coastal elites who are Obama's financial backers but they don't play well in flyover country, not even with Dems in flyover country.

Despite what the MSM is spewing about the election coming down to Hispanics it will come down to Reagan Democrats.
