Romney was one. How scary is THAT? The person McCain wanted most was Joe Lieberman.

The most interesting thing to me is that the Republicans ran so many lightweights in 2008, and did the same in 2011-12. I would think the guys like Fred Thompson and Huckabee would not get a repeat, but they did- different faces, same small caliber.
