I live in the Washington DC suburbs, inarguably one of the more staunch liberal bastions in the nation. Back in 2008, when driving around the 495 Beltway and beyond, I couldn't help but notice the amazing number of "Obama/Biden 2008" bumper stickers and the array of other pro-Obama paraphernalia adorning cars. The support for the president-elect was beyond palpable.

Fast-forward to 2012, and I RARELY ever see an Obama bumper sticker. In fact, i've made it a personal challenge to look at cars as I drive around to see if I can register any outward support for the guy. Let me tell you, it is nearly non-existent. Will the people of the DC-area still pull the lever for Obama/Biden in November? Without a doubt. But let it be known that the pure lack of excitement for this failed President is very evident......so much so that Obama bumper stickers are hardly anywhere to be found.

If that's not a sad commentary on the leadership of this President compared to the Hope N Change Magic Carpet Ride of 2008, then I don't know what is!!!

It is refreshing. I see some now and again. Mostly black people or hippie looking old people.

NC is lost to the Democrats. VA is on the precipice as well - all those young voters from UVA will be staying home on election day or maybe switching over to the GOP as they realize they are graduating with nothing but a quick return to their parents' basement, jobless.

The only ones I see now are the faded ones from 2008. I live in California. I was the only one that had a McCain sign in my front yard in our neighborhood as a protest vote in 2008. LOL

LOL....people judging election outcomes and political passion based on bumper stickers.

Maybe the people of D.C. have finally gotten the memo about how lame and pathetic political bumper stickers are.
