Has Obama thanked the conservative author yet for helping out Obama's brother? (interviews, liberals)

I havent heard anything about it yet. I heard the barack kardashian did interviews with hard hitting People rag, and Entertainment Tonight. I heard him answering questions about his favorite color, favorite super hero. When will someone ask him if he has thanked the guy who helped his brother pay medical bills? When will Obama publicly acknowledge that he isnt his brothers keeper, and that a conservative is more capable and caring to do so?
Obama, I suppose, when he said he's his brothers keeper, meant that the government should be everyones keeper, not necessarily an individual.
This story is much bigger than the current distractions the media/liberals are trying to scream and cry about. Yet not a word. Can you imagine if Romney or Ryan had a sibling who called a liberal for help over them? This entire story is so telling. The media silence is as well, if you have any doubt what side they lean
