The reporter wrote a story that said the candidate's views on abortion were similar to Todd Akin from Missouri. The candidate didn't like that very much.

Default Washington state R Sen candidate tells lefty journalist: go (bleep) yourself!

Michael Baumgartner, the R candidate here for US Senate in 2012, is an ex-State Dept employee who worked in both Afghanistan and Iraq. He wanted to talk about Afganistan, but a lefty reporter just kept hammering and yammering away about MO Senate candidate Todd Akin, he of 'legitimate rape.'

Baumgartner discreetly emailed the reporter to 'go f*** yourself' and thus ended the journalistic episode.

As far as I can tell, he's getting thumbs up from most WA Republicans.

However, unfortunately he doesn't stand much of a chance against even the mediocre incumbent Dem, Maria Cantwell, in deep blue WA.

That Akin let the cat out of the bag. People are starting to see the extreme GOP as the new American Taliban in this country. These teabaggers don't like getting exposed

Another Tea Partier who wants to be on the government dole for as long as he can. Nice.

Interesting how conservatives often criticize liberals for being uncivilized, yet they applaud this type of language and behavior if it comes from a Republican.

That could cost him the election. Oh wait,it's deeply red Washington state(by red I don't mean Republican).
