Good for Paul. Who the hell does Romney think he is?

Quote:
The libertarian Republican presidential candidate says he’s declined an opportunity to speak at the Republican National Convention in Tampa because Mitt Romney’s campaign imposed two conditions on any Paul speech — that it be reviewed by the nominee-to-be’s team and that it include an endorsement without hesitation or reservation.

Paul has some loony ideas, but he has one thing Romney will NEVER have. integrity.

I gotta say I admire Paul for sticking to his guns and refusing to kow tow to the GOP establishment.

Like what? At least say what you are talking about. I agree though about integrity.

I don't want to derail the topic. For the record, I agree with many of Paul's ideas, but not all of them. Like I said, I want to stay on topic.

Unfortunately, integrity seems to be more liability than asset in politics today, on both sides of the aisle.

The party nominee. You know the one who actually has a chance of getting elected. Wouldn't the Democrats just love it if the Republicans had a speaker who didn't support the party candidate. Paul wants that kind of control? Do what Peroit did and form your own party.

Dr. Paul spoke for an hour tonight on C-Span and Youtube.

The RNC has corrupted the convention and is filled with liars and thieves. They changed the rules multiple times in order to unseat Ron Paul delegates from Maine, Oklahoma and Nevada.

There is no reason to have a Convention nor primaries when the PARTY is just going to choose for the people instead of honoring the voters and their delegates.

Tyranny rules. The RNC and DNC are more alike than different.

Do you understand that technically there is no nominee UNTIL the delegates votes have been recorded at the Convention? Do you prefer totalitarianism or do you think that delegates should be allowed to be seated as elected and place their votes?

Frankly, from what I saw live streamed tonight, I have no doubt Ron Paul would beat Obama. But, the RNC had to play dirty and corrupt the primaries and the convention. If Romney is a shoe-in why does the RNC have to cheat and deny Ron Paul delegates their seat and their vote? Why not allow Ron Paul to speak? WHat are they afraid of, the truth?
